GETTING THE RIGHT MATURATION DIET FOR YOUR BROODSTOCK

Marine worms are a natural diet for all marine animals and their value as a component of maturation feeds for crustacea and fin fish has been recognised for many years. Seabait's blast-frozen maturation diet starts with the polychaete Nereis virens but, by utilising a unique production process, Seabait produces a highly enhanced product too good to be called a worm and far better and more reliable in quality than can be achieved in the wild or from uncontrolled production processes that mimic nature.

A well balanced diet including essential fatty acids is needed to produce well developed high quality eggs, and also for successful embryonic development, hatching, larval performance and immune system development. This degree of nutrition and performance is offered by Seabait's off-the-shelf maturation diet. Click here for nutritional analysis.

Seabait's intensively cultured product is grown in conditions that maximise quality and biosecurity. Click here for further advantages

It also represents a very positive step towards sustainability in world aquaculture. Click here for details.
